Installing the Oil Filter Adapter on Small Block Ford 302

This is a simple yet very important step in the process. You will need to pick up an oil filter adapter to mount the oil filter properly. This part is made by Allstar Performance Part Number: ALL92003. The existing adapter is removed by a hefty 32MM socket. Once removed, clean the area where the filter gasket will be installed on the block. Then thread the new oil filter adapter into the block and tighten with a HEX socket. Thread your oil filter onto the block and you’re done!
