This is a fairly straight forward installation and only a few considerations need to be made. Purchase a quality aluminum oil pan that is front sump style to match your new oil pump & pickup screen. When considering an oil pan, make sure the mounting lip is thick and has a good amount of material. Use a 1 piece rubber oil pan gasket that has the steel within the gasket. When mounting the oil pan to the block, ensure that the mounting surface is clean and free of any contaminants. Use ONLY GRADE 8 mounting hardware and washers. Torque the bolts to 15 Ft. Lbs. and recheck once all bolts are installed. The bolts you will need are 1/4″ x 20 x 1″ and the end bolts are 5/16 x 20 x 1″
